Sean Compton, a founding member of our club, passed away on 26th January. Sean was instrumental in getting the club started - managing teams and encouraging new players to join the club. His four sons also played for the club. We owe Sean a huge debt of gratitude for all he did for the club in the early days. I know from speaking to his son, Paul, that his interest and pride in the club continued through his later years.
On behalf of the club, I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Pauline and the rest of the Compton family. While we can't be with them in person given current restrictions, they are in our thoughts at this sad time.
