MEMORIAL GARDEN

Back in February 2021 work started on turning the grassy area around the clubhouse into what would be our Memorial Garden, dedicated to those Granada members who have passed away over the years. On Saturday, 20th November 2021 the garden was officially opened and a memorial stone unveiled by Club Chairman Ciaran Kane and Mrs. Pauline Compton, who's late-husband Sean had been a founder of Granada FC back in 1970. It was a wonderful event and brought together people from our club to remember our deceased members. Congratulations to Paddy Cranfield who's idea this garden was, an idea he brought to fruition with some seriously hard work!
